Storyteller
Are these the journals of our Life Story? The one journal holds our Dreams. The other volumes are our actual life story. These journals seem to be a bit more tattered and well read. Which ends up to be more interesting?
The other day I was listening to a Beyond Worlds podcast and Jordan Hoggard mentioned Tarot as storytelling. I loved the concept of this. I started thinking about our everyday existance. We all tell our daily story's to others whether we realize it or not. On the other side, we are all so busy with our own lives we forget that we are watching our co-workers and family members story's also playing out. Do our lives play out like a deck of Tarot Cards? When we wake up in the morning, are we picking our subconscious cards of the day? Some of us pull the same cards day after day. What is that old saying about doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Those who might be more aware of their story shuffle their decks each day with intention. This person picks combinations of different cards and gets some exciting results. Maybe not always the results they expected (and that needs to be okay) because it adds to the richness (or craziness) of the story called our "Life".

The Chariot
I might have a special fondness for the Chariot card since I loved having a Horse Drawn Carriage Business myself. If you have never been sitting up on the seat of a carriage with a big old horse in the front and a beautiful decked out carriage in the back in might be hard to fathom. Take my word for it. It is very special. Check out my past blogs on Horse and Carriage and you will see what I mean.

Death or Devil
Many woman have two sides to her personality. Does she want or feel she must find her Prince Charming or does she look deep within to find her inner Goddess? Can she have both? Woman wear many hats. It is no wonder we have no idea what we really want. Who has time to think about it? We are spouses, mothers, cooks, housekeepers, employees, chauffeurs and nurturers. The list never ends. Many woman say they no longer have any idea who they are after years of partnership. Add children to the mix and forget about it. How much do we give up of our true self in order to share a life with others? You compromise and give up little bits of who you really are each day until you no longer recognise that young girl in the mirror. But can your really be your true Goddess when feeling that you are missing something without a significant other? Is it possible to be your own significant other? Many stay in bad relationships for the fear of being lonely or feeling incomplete. So do you stay and compromise and except a bit of daily death? Do woman stay in relationships for fear of not being able to make it financially just as we stay in a job we hate? If only we had time to sit down and really figure out what it is we want for ourselves. Problem is, no one seems to have ten extra minutes for themselves. What would happen if we quit listening to the "they" people. "They" say I should get married, "they" say I need two children, they say if I quit my job I will be sorry, they they they. What is your right answer? Is that old saying "Be careful what you wish for" true?
So is this really the Death card or the Devil card? Death of who you once were or the Devil for tricking you into believing in the fairy tale?
She is rejecting the truth about what the young girl has to say to the woman. Maybe we need to remember what the little girl said she wanted to be when she grew up. Her truth was pure and honest and only has the best intentions. But we are all grown up now. That little girl was naive and immature and had no idea about the real world. Right?

Things that make you go Hmmmmm
Don't even ask. I have no idea what this means or represents. Sometimes just strange things develop. What can I say. I didn't even take cold medicine before making this page. I have no excuses and I take full responsibility for it.

Three of Wands
Got a bit carried away with the the Three of Wands. I guess I didn't realize how many I was doing. All the cards do have a water aspect to them. They were a blast to create. Some cards just come easier than others.
I enjoyed the color scheme of this card. I like the hues.
This card has the most stuff in it. I really enjoyed the challenge of her. Notice the ship in the bottle at her feet. I love the ocean anyway so all these cards were so fun and relaxing to design.

Three of Cups
This makes me want drinks with my girlfriends. Cosmo's anyone?
This was a fun card to design. The mermaids get to watch the fish frolic for a change.
Toasting to the Goddess.
A more subtle cups card.
I like this card best. What is more loving then having a tea party with children. Cup of tea anyone?

Card Backs or Moon Cards
The moon card is really fun to design. I have so many moon cards I liked these for card backs. But they would not work well for reading reversals.

Empress
The Empress cards are fun to design. The ladies just know what they want in their cards. There are themes that run through the cards. Certain images I love using. Bee's being one of them.
Spiders and Spider Webbs are another favorite of mine to use.
This card has a heart shaped theme. I also like using bits or red on black and white. It really pops.
