Empress

The Empress cards are fun to design. The ladies just know what they want in their cards. There are themes that run through the cards. Certain images I love using. Bee's being one of them.

Spiders and Spider Webbs are another favorite of mine to use.

This card has a heart shaped theme. I also like using bits or red on black and white. It really pops.

Lenormand Oracle Cards

I like the system of Lenormand Cards. There are only 36 instead of 78 first off. They are a bit more simplistic as well. I have been playing around with designing the cards when not playing around with Tarot. This card I did not use an acutal photo for the background.

These photos are from a trip my daughter took in France. They are really fun to work with.

Crows

I like crows. We don't have Raven's in my area and I am not sure I have ever seen a Raven. Crow's, they crack me up. They are so in your face and sassy. I use crow's in many of my cards. Keep a look out for them. If this was a tarot card what would it be?

Tarot title

This was a fun card to create. I enjoyed finding different items to put together the word "Tarot". The "R" is actually the only letter I used.

Color

There is a lot going on in this card. My version of Day of the Dead. Lots of color. Just inbetween waiting for some new class assignments.

Dream Catcher

Dream Catchers, also known as Spider Web Charms, are believed to trap unimportant or bad dreams that float in the air, much the way a spider traps insects into their webb. Bad dreams are trapped and lost within the webb while the good dreams were permitted to slide down and enter your thoughts. The use of Owl, Hawk and Eagle feathers are no longer legally sold so this dream catcher is digitally made from stones and jewelry. I would hang this above my bed anytime.

Oracles

I am in-between class homework so I am posting a couple Oracle style cards. I have not stopped making Tarot cards by any means. They are pouring out and on to the page but I am waiting to post as homework. There are hundreds of cards finished and hundreds more waiting to be created. I try to come up with five ideas everyday. Sometimes putting the idea in my head to a card does not project all that well. And sometimes when I just try something off the top of my head it comes out better than I had hoped. So there is no right way or wrong way. You just have to start.
