Maybe instead of your family tree being just a "tree" we should look at our family as a web.  Our people on the branches of this tree usually have a few leaves missing here and there. What if "our people" were put on threads that hold the family history together. Doesn't that sound so much more interesting? I am naming my family history "Ancient Cobwebs" The tiny little miracle of threads started by two people that now hold the entire web of your life together. Complicated, a bit sticky and just out there in a vast unknown world of daily discovery.

Reflection

Moon

Again call me strange but I like the Moon and I don't like that the moon card has kind of a negative message. I don't associate the moon with negativity. Some authors of tarot cards see the moon in the same way. Some see the card as a negative. That is what makes the world go round. Opinions.

I AM

Acceptance.

When people in the world can just be who they are.  I do not practice Wicca or Hoodoo but I love learning about it. I don't consider them religion. "I Am" open to all possibilites. Sometimes religion puts fear in people to learn more about others and what they practice and why. Sad really. Afraid you might like it? Afraid there might be something better suited for you out there in the big world? Then what? It would upset the apple cart that's what. Then again So What.

Cobwebs

I was listening to a podcast with Monte Farber. He is an author and creator of many interesting products said the words "Ancient Cobwebs" in his podcast. I love that. I know what Ancient Cobwebs means to me. So now I am going to have to do some oracle cards with cobwebs. The beauty of a huge cobweb sprinkled with morning dew is near perfection. I rarely get the opportunity to find these beautiful creations. To me it is one of the 7 wonders. (That and chocolate cake.)

My new favorite word

So this is my new favorite word lately. I love what it is, I love the way it rolls off your tongue when you say it. So I wonder, has anybody ever named someone Metaphor? I mean we label our kids with some really stupid names anymore. Tiffany Lamp, Crystal Bell, Chasity Lace, Bambi, Princess, Apple. So why not?

Death (Twisted Tarot)

So I like the Death card. I get excited to see the Death card. That means I am going to get some new opportunities. Kind of a "do over". Do you ever wish the majority of your life could be a "do over"? Some say they wouldn't change a thing. I certainly would. Not everything but definitely a few things.

Seriously it could be worse. Her head could be on a platter and the bird could have crapped all down the front of her face. See if you look at it the right way, I guess things could always be worse.
