April Fools Day

Here is one way to kick off your April 1st. Take the leap!! Go for it!! Just do it!!

Leap Day Grumpy Style

Need a little push to take that leap? Just ask I am sure there is someone in your life who would just LOVE to give you that push off the ledge.

I am doing a new series of cards. Yes I have been sharing my childrens illustration "fluffy bunny" cards. I am a huge fan of children's books and artists who draw for these books.

BUT my conclusion is there are so many beautiful well drawn stunning creative tarot and oracle decks out there. I collect them. I love them.  Not sure if anyone has done a grumpy or meaner side of a tarot card. A bit of comedy a bit of synisism a bit of mean. Just for fun of course!

I do not consider myself an artist.  I more consider myself a crafter. I seriously can not draw a straight line. Those who can draw I have to use your creative hand to make these cards come to life. Thank you for your talents.

Fool

Switching gears a bit. I found this adorable old children's book with great illustrations in it and decided to challenge myself a bit. You start seeing Tarot in everything so I decided to see if I could do the Majors using children's illustrations. Now I did take some liberties with with illustrations and added my own touches to them. So I am going to be sharing some of these cards. I can't say that these illustrations are copyright free. But they are never going any further than posting them here. It was just a fun challenge I gave myself. Nothing more.

Fool's Journey

Somewhere over the rainbow this little gal is going. She didn't bring a little dog along, she brought her bunnie buddy, only he is having fun of his own. Wouldn't it be nice is everybody's Fool's Journey had only a rainbow path. Her optimisim believes this is what is ahead for her.

She seemed to have made her journey off the rainbow and back onto land. What is going on with the mask? Her bunny friend has disappeared and she found out her true friend was her bluebird. Maybe when you are being a Fool you find out who your true friends really are.

This little lady is back. Looks like her crazy bunny friend once again took the plunge before she did. What lies behind the door? She is about to find out.

This fairy fool seems to be a bit hesitant about starting her journey. She cant seem to step off her ledge. And yet there is beautiful music to be played. Her bunny friend is doesnt seem to understand her fear but realizes this is her journey.

I guess the Fool is long gone. Best Wishes.

She is my favorite Fool. Her life is a series of notes. Each key played a different note for her. She has left that to try her path of cards. It is a long long path that seems to go on for eternity. Will this unlock her new Fool's path? She will have to take the journey to find out.
